So, the 2016 Grammy award ceremonies have been and gone. All the performances were incredible last night, but a personal stand out for me was Lady Gaga's tribute to the many faces of David Bowie.
Though she admits it was hard work pulling it all together for her long time idol, it paid off big time in the end.
She captured his dynamic career beautifully, aided by the ingenious incorporation of facial mapping technology, Intel's dancing piano, called "Lobot" and to the many costume changes throughout the performance. I am not the only one who enjoyed it. It seemed to touch many Gaga and Bowie fans from around the world, including receiving a seal of approval from the likes of Ellen DeGeneres, herself.
Gaga has said, that Bowie's life and the artsy people that he surrounded himself with had a big influence on her personally and on her career even though they never actually met in person. Bowie passed away last month just days after his 69th Birthday and final album release.
